Saturday night we are in Meiringen, Switzerland

Last night we camped at Interlaken.  No internet by the time we set up camp. Ride yesterday from Bern go Interlaken was beautiful. Will send pictures tonight if we can keep internet working.Today has been raining and we decided not to go to Grindelwald in the mountains.

So headed out on route to Lucerne to see if we could make it through Bruning Pass. A big climb. We made it to the foot of the pass. The route along Brienzersee (Lake) had two steep bumps to climb over. And then rain got us cOld and wet.

We stopped after 3 to find a dry place to sleep. We are at Simon’s Herberge. Neat place. Bunk beds again. Aaron went up top again.

We booked InterCity Amsterdam to Basel then Basel to Bern. Track is screwed up an we ended up with three extra transfers including city bus. Staying tonight warm showers host.

Why are we on a city bus from Rastall to Baden Baden?
